Position Summary

The Software Engineer position is responsible for writing application code to contribute to the full lifecycle of development from concept to post-production support and maintenance of server / OS / desktop / web applications and services. This position will develop application code, contribute to version-controlled source code repositories and will manage assigned tasks to create measurable value and deliver software to market using industry recognized agile methodologies and best practices. This position will be located in our Pune Office.

A Day in the Life

1. Develop application code according to requirements and assigned tasks
2. Contribute to lifecycle Flow and value streams by following prescribed methodologies and best practices
3. Mentor and coach junior development team members
4. Maintain balance of business and technical acumen in decision making
5. Follow source-code management and work item tracking best practices
6. Contribute to the estimation process during planning exercises
7. Provide consultation to development management team

We would love to chat if you have...

• 3 - 5 years professional hands-on experience performing software development 
• Expert knowledge with respect to the following: 
• Visual C++, Modern C++  
• C#, .NET (CLR, Framework, Standard and Core 5+) 
• SQL Server (Fluent with stored procedures, functions, indexes, views, profiler, tracing) 
• Web Services (gRPC, REST) 
• ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core and Web API 
• Unit and integration tests (MSTest, xUnit, NUnit, mocking) 
• Expert knowledge of toolsets such as: 
• Azure Pipeline/Jenkins 
• Git/TFS/SVN 
• Azure DevOps/Jira 

Nice to have Skills - 

• Containers, Docker, Kubernetes 
• PowerShell 
• Application Telemetry  
• NuGet 
• Postman or similar 
• Javascript / Angular 
• Swagger, Open API, GraphQL 
• SDLC Methodologies: 
• Design 
• Design patterns, SOLID Principles 
• Architectural patterns, microservices 
• Code quality, clean code  

• Ability to collaborate, validate and assist prioritizing requirements for projects and request 
• Ability to properly assess and articulate risk
